Our Nancy Varner Center for Women’s Health in Redlands is 3,300 square feet of imaging innovation. It’s a warm, compassionate place to get a mammogram, breast biopsy, bone density screening and other procedures.
The center empowers women to make informed decisions about their health with knowledge including preventative education, brochures and guidebooks. Patients make decisions in tandem with their physician’s recommendations.
We are designated a Breast Cancer Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.
The center is committed to elevating women’s health to a higher standard with the best available technology and education. We’ve received funding from Stater Bros. Charities and Inland Women Fighting Center, which has helped us purchase state-of-the-art imaging equipment for early detection and diagnosis.
The best prevention is early detection. Our goal is to provide the best education tools and technology for early diagnosis and treatment.
Our comprehensive center offers all the imaging services women need in one location, and often on the same day. We also do our best to provide expedited results in an effort to minimize anxiety and maximize better outcomes.
Services include 3D digital screening mammography, ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy, breast, pelvic or general ultrasounds, bone density screenings (DEXA scan) and Savi Scout localizations. Even testing with longer turnaround time is handled quickly; results are shared with the patient and doctor within days. Early detection in breast cancer can mean the difference between life and death.
When possible, surgery can be avoided through the use of minimally invasive breast-saving biopsy techniques for suspected cancer, decreasing pain and discomfort.
The Nancy Varner Center for Women’s Health strives to ensure its patients' health and comfort. Comfort measures include a welcoming environment, a warm gown and even soothing aromatherapy. We also have the option to use the latest technology, including the SmartCurve™ and FUJI…mammography tool, which reduces discomfort during the procedure.
Many women dislike these procedures because of the usually cold, clinical environment. At The Nancy Varner Center for Women’s Health, patients are greeted warmly at the door and treated like people, rather than a number. The staff will address them by name, educate them about their health and treat them with respect and integrity from start to finish.
